From the top of the first peak of the Pyrenees Chain at a height of 902 metres we can contemplate the marvellous landscape which forms the Basque coast, the mountain chain of the Pyrenees and the Xareta Territory.
Built in 1924 entirely of wood, the Train to Larrun has been climbing the steep slopes of the mountain in 35 minutes for more than 75 years at a speed of 8 km/h to its peak. It is open every day between 17th March and 11th November.
