The Nature Park of Señorío de Bertiz has 2,040 hectares of vegetation, dominated by oak and beech trees. There are palatial buildings and gardens with many exotic species.
We can divide the Park into two areas of exceptional beauty: The Botanical Garden and the "enchanted" Forest.

The Botanical Garden covers a flat area of 4 hectares, with more than 120 local and exotic species of trees and shrubs, some of which are unique to Navarre, and there are a group of buildings including the Palace, the Caserío Tenientetxea (farmhouse), the chapel and the viewpoint of the Bidasoa River. The Caserío houses the Nature Interpretation Centre. |
