The nature reserve of Peñas de Itxusi is located in the northeast of the Baztan Valley, specifically on the rocky slopes of the ridges of mount Artzamendi, covering an area of 115 hectares and above the Aritzakun valley.

Among the beech and oak forest we will find the Griffon vulture and the osprey.
