Witch museum



A tribute to the memory of the region. The Witch Museum of Zugaramurdi is a museum focused on the historical memory arising from events that happened 400 years ago, between 1609 and 1614, in the area of Xareta. During these years, women, men and children, many from Zugarramurdi, were accused and condemned in the largest witch hunt in history. The museum is a tribute to them all and describes what was said, what was recorded, rumour and fact, in short; a memory.
