In Urdazubi, we can find the caves of Ikaburu, which were discovered in 1808, although they were populated for long periods of time between 30,000 and 20,000 B.C.
They are an impressive example of a natural excavation with numerous ramifications within them, chambers which have been conditioned with stairs and lighting so they can be appreciated by the visitor. The stream of Urtxuma runs through them and they contain parietal art from the Magdalenian period.
