The valleys of Baztan and Bidasoa are in the north of Navarre, very close to the sea and the beach. Here there is a mild climate, with a green landscape of meadows and forests of beech trees bracken. 15 towns and villages belong to Baztan, with the capital being Elizondo. It is governed by the Regional Government.
